Let me tell you about a little secret called the public library. LOVE IT! And here are just a few reasons why:

1. Goodnight Moon was getting a little old. Literally. It was starting to deteriorate. We now get new "bedtime books" almost every week.

2. The library has movies! OMG! Who knew? We've rented tons of Disney flicks which Nathan pays very little attention to, but I enjoy them! They also have all the regular movies you'd rent from Netflix or Blockbuster. Score! I caught up with the rest of the 21st century and rented the Twilight saga films (after I read all the books). BTW - I was pretty devasted when I figured out that Breaking Dawn was only one book (there are 2 movies so I figured there were 2 books). I seriously almost cried. But it's ok because...

3. There are more than just fiction books. I've checked out a ton of recipe books and even things on business, haircutting....they have quite the selection of literature.

4. Librarians are some of the sweetest people on earth (next to Grandmas of course!). Our local gals are so helpful and kind...and I happen to have two friends with their Master's degree in Library Science. They too are very, very sweet. Hi Katie & Jill :o)

5. The library has a kids areas with puppet stands, train tables, puzzles. It is a blast for Nathan to play with these "new" toys. And that means Nick & I don't have to spend the money or lose more space in our house to a million toys which will get used like 3 times.

6. You can reserve and renew books online. Such a benefit when you can't actually look through books in person with two babies.

7. FREEEEEE! That's right everything is totally free! OMG! How awesome is that? All the books and movies you could ever want. Free! Such an awesome thing that library. Whoever came up with that one is a genius...
