Nathan is MR INDEPENDENT these days. He wants to do everything himself: go down the stairs, climb into his carseat & do the buckle, wipe his booty, everything! The plus side is he has now mastered (i'm using that term very loosely) putting his shoes & socks on.
Last week at the library I let him put our books in the return slot. He proceeded to grab their books which were on display and put them in the slot! It was pretty cute but I did have to put a stop to it...
Look at what Miss Hannah can do! I caught her in the act Monday night :o) She is so proud of herself!
Nathan and Hannah have been playing bumper cars in the hallway. Sometimes he thinks its funny and sometimes he gets super mad if he can't get past her walker. She always thinks it's funny. Anytime she can follow Nathan around she is loving life. She just adores her big brother!
And then there are the times when Nathan wants to help her...they both love that.
Every now and then Nathan proclaims he is a baby. He'll ask for help eating or want to lay down to get dressed (like Hannah lays on the changing table). Whatever....as long as we don't go back to diapers or a bottle I'm sure I can live with it. Speaking of which, Hannah is down to just one bottle per day at bedtime. Woo Hoo!!! I will be glad when Dr. Brown moves out of our kitchen!
Hannah turns into an octopus when you try to dress her or change her diaper. What a nightmare that is....she's figured out how to throw her weight around
