Where Do I Begin???

So many updates for you!!!! It has been a whirlwind here. I know I say that every time but all you mom's out there know it is the truth! Hannah had her 4 month appt last week and weighed in at 14 lbs 13oz. We got the all clear to start rice cereal and that we did. Last night she practically liked the bowl clean! And those of you who have seen her lizard-like tongue know that there is a chance of that actually happening.
She has started giggling and is just millimeters away from rolling over on her own! She's growing up so fast.....I can't believe how fast this is going....We are still working to sleep through the night but I think the change in diet and ability to get herself onto her belly will make a huge difference here before long. That being said I decided we were up for a new challenge. S
Your eyes have not deceived you. This is not an illusion. Nathan is wearing BIG BOY UNDIES!!! Potty training started Sunday and we are doing great. Yes - I said we. This is just as much about training me as it is him. I'm learning his "tells" and getting better at eliminating any obstacles for him. It's day 3 and I'm very proud to report that we had ZERO accidents from the time he woke up until naptime!!!!!!!!!!! We've also gone #2 in the potty each time since Sunday at naptime. Unfortunately Nick had a really ugly situation to deal with after Nathan's nap on Sunday. No need for graphic details but I will just say Mommy made a HUGE mistake by letting someone go to bed without any pants or undies. Just imagine the worst and that should pretty much sum it up. Beyond that....what else, what else? Nathan thinks oven mitts are the best toys in the world right now. We do little puppet shows with them :o)
OH! And football season has officially arrived. Nick taught Nathan how to say touchdown! and do a fist bump during the first Sunday games. It's pretty funny. Except I thought Nathan was going to punch Hannah in the face the first time he gave her a fist bump.
This picture is from several weeks ago but it's too cute not to share. Nick put Nathan in "time out" at the end of the hall. Nathan did not make a peep and did not try to get up. He just read a few books until his time was served.
OK - well Hannah is crying so I have to run. Stay tuned :o)
